Please be noting that this is NOT a fail post, but emotional stuff. :) This one will be a ‘before and after’ affair. One part before the World Cup final and one part after it, whatever be the outcome. Octopussy be damned, I believe that the Netherlands a.k.a Holland a.k.a Oranje should bring the long-overdue cup home to…
Disclaimer: Viewing videos given in this post may cause brain damage, insanity, Hulk Disease or all of these. You know the drill: Watch at your own risk. I am not responsible. Also, knowledge of Malayalam is not a pre-requisite. Mediocrity knows no language. Everyone knows there are a lot of things wrong with Kerala. But…
Life is hard. No doubt about it. Especially so if you are a Football fan in India. In India, cricket rules like Hugo Chavez rules Venezuela. And just like Chavez’ political opponents, any other sport simply does not exist on a national scale or has been pushed into oblivion, including football despite it having the largest popularity and fan base across the world. The…
Please be noting: Below post does not apply to Cricket. Thank You. We Indians have this strange habit of asking the same question over and over again, especially so when we already know its answer. “Dude, who won the Bangladesh – Sri Lanka match in the Asia Cup yesterday?” “Oh. There is some Cricket going on? Sorry, didn’t notice.” “What? How CAN you sit and cheer for some gora foreign country when India is playing at the Asia Cup? You don’t have any love for your country.” There we go…
The FIFA World Cup 2010 is underway as we speak. Being an absolute football fan, me took to the idiot box as soon as the first whistle was sounded. But as it progresses, there is a very uneasy feeling of boring settling in about the whole thing. Something, no, many things are missing. And it is…
We all have priorities. Material priorities. Those that we think we will solve all our problems. Like an Audi Q7 instead of the shitty Alto we drive, a suburban villa next to the woods in place of the cramped apartment in that polluted rundown neighborhood we live in, a 43 Inch Sony Bravia instead of…
Any Indian worth his travel bag will swear that traveling in India is a huge fail whale. Airports are located in areas where just getting there is a half day’s job. Trains are overbooked, chaotic, slow and of course, late. Buses run when they want to, and usually seem to all places except where you want to go to. Want to…
Banana Corporation, Inc., does not sell Bananas. I mean, we would love to, since we love Bananas which are the reason for the existence of our role models: The Banana Republics. (No, not the overpriced cloth selling places! Look it up. Havent you heard of Wikipedia? #fail) Anyways coming back to subject, we are an…
